A memorial service will take place at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.

Age 70, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021. Claudette was born in Vicksburg, Michigan on September 12, 1950, the daughter of the late Claude E. and Katherine M. (Pierce) Mason. She was a graduate of Vicksburg High School. Claudette met her husband, Jerry Wallace, while working at Bonanza Steakhouse and they were married on November 8, 1969. She also spent time working for Country Market, Trimm Hardware and D&W Market. Claudette enjoyed going to the casino, playing BINGO and family poker nights. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Claudette is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Wallace; daughter, Tina (Gavin) Richmond; son, Harold (Becky) Wallace; grandchildren, Connor (Amanda Vella) and Calista Richmond and Brody, Jillian and Carter Wallace; “daughter by choice” and special friend, Ingrid McGuire; brother, David (Carol) Mason; aunt, June Taft and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Claudette was preceded in death by her brothers, Ron, Ed, Joe and Danny Mason.
