Age 58, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020. Dan was born in Kalamazoo, on November 17, 1961, the son of Fred and Gloria (Pio) Sivley Sr. On February 15, 1980, he married Jean Lynn Racine-Plunkett. Dan was an avid outdoorsman and he loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed riding his Harley. He worked at Georgia Pacific where he was a Beater Engineer for 15+ years, until they closed. He finished his career as a diesel technician and night supervisor at RMI. He supported his family in whatever they wanted or did and always gave them his stern unconditional love. He had many dogs over the years and was always fond of his beagles. Dan was dedicated to his family and there was nothing more important in the world to him. Dan is survived by his spoiled Ellie Mae; his wife, Jean; his children, Dan (Tennille) Sivley Jr., Charlene (Chad) Smith of Vicksburg, Kevin Sivley, Lauriana Sivley, Spc. Bernardino Sivley, Pssa. Patricia (Zach) Perkins, Jessica Sivley, Robert Sivley; Zackery Verburg; grand-daughters, Madison Sivley, Nadia, Chrisandra, Johanna, and Fiona Smith; sister, Alta (Todd) Bradley; brother, Ronnie Hambright; sister-in-law, Marilyn Sivley; brother-in-law, Ronald Plunkett; several nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fred Sivley Jr. and Lloyd (Loretta) Sivley.
