Age 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Daniel was born in Ridgway, Pennsylvania on December 30, 1948, the son of the late J. Verne and Margaret G. (Hergenrother) Berglund. He graduated from Johnsonburg High School, class of 1966. Shortly after high school, Daniel enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country honorably from 1968 to 1974. He was a godly man who had a deep love of his Lord and was a faithful servant to Jesus Christ. Daniel attended Great Lakes Christian College and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Religious Education. He became an ordained minister of Christ on June 26, 1988. Daniel enjoyed building things, home projects, orchids, reading, spending time in the Upper Peninsula and camping. He was a devout family man who loved his family deeply and cherished spending time with them. Daniel retired in 2020 after spending most of his working life as a metal fabricator. He is survived by his wife, the former Patrica J. Larivee; his daughter, Michaela Berglund; step-children, Matthew and Lisa Peters; grandchildren, Cameron Peters and Zada Elston; his brother, Robert (Lucy) Berglund and many beloved nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled at this time. Interment with full military honors will take place at a later date at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
