A service to commemorate Daniel’s life will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for assistance with expenses.

Age 43, passed away on October 21, 2021. Daniel was born in Grafton, ND, on November 1, 1977, the son of Gregorio and Yvonne (Bedard) Trevino. He was a football player at South Middle School, and at Kalamazoo Central. He held a shotput record at Kalamazoo Central when he was in the 9th grade. He was an avid Michigan football and Detroit Lions football fan. He had a kind heart and cared about others, always defending the little guy. He never let anyone bully people that he knew. Daniel is survived by his mother, Yvonne; siblings, Linda Trevino of Kalamazoo, Michael Trevino of Schoolcraft, Abe (Lyndsey) Trevino of Kalamazoo, Brianna Trevino of Grand Rapids, Matthew Trevino of Kalamazoo; nieces, Jisele, Alexa, Alayna; nephews, Jordan, Maddox; his god-mother, Mary Olan; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Joseph Trevino.
