August 19, 1944 - April 23, 2023

A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions in Darlene’s memory may be given to Centrica Care Navigators Hospice.

Darlene's soft voice sweetly spoke to me when I first moved to Vineyard and had a room near hers. Her beauty and gentleness were my first impressions as she came into my room to meet me for the very first time. She spoke fondly of her husband and talked about her job. Walking into the Grapevine here at Vineyard will never be the same since I will not see her sitting there. My deepest condolences to her family. She is gone but not forgotten. -Melanie Zeiger
