In accordance with her wish cremation will take place. Her family will celebrate her life privately. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, c/o the funeral home.

Age 80, passed away on August 24, 2019, with family at her side. She was born in Kalamazoo on January 2, 1939, the daughter of the late Wesley and Kathleen (Miller) Werner. Darlene was a loving, kind and passionate person. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed laughing and making memories with family and friends. Darlene enjoyed staying active and was an avid golfer. Her laughter and joy will be missed at States Golf Course where she often played. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, enjoyed bowling and working in her flower garden. She also made many fond memories while camping with her family at Lakes of the North. She was a hard worker and retired from the post office. Darlene loved her family and friends; she leaves them with many joyous memories of a life well lived. She is survived by three children, Kathleen (Steve Ruimveld) VanDyke, Kitti (Paul) Goldberg, Kip (Stacy) Davison; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, John Werner; sister, Nell (Jack) Gray. She was also preceded in passing by her former spouse Russell Ingersoll; son, Coy “Corky” Davison; brothers, Frank, Ron and Terry Werner.
