Age 52, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 3, 2023. David was born in Fairborn, OH, on June 7, 1971, the son of Franklin and Susanna (Hagan) Vaughn. On July 15, 2023, he married Taya Vaughn who survives him. David proudly served his nation in the United States Army in Operation: Desert Storm. David was a passionate man and a dedicated husband and father giving bits of wisdom to anyone that would listen. He lit up the room wherever he went. In the minds and hearts of those that loved him he will be remembered as a great husband and father. Besides his wife, David is survived by his son, Joshua Vaughn; his father, Franklin Vaughn; his mother, Susanna Eppes; stepdaughter, Kasandra (Andrew) Kettner; stepson, Konnor Pollins; grandson, Decker Kettner; brother, John Vaughn; sister, Lucy Vaughn; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Lander; sister-in-law, Heather Lander; nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends. David was preceded in death by his first wife, Jackie Vaughn; a brother, Paul Vaughn; his grandparents; and father-in-law, Timothy Lander.
