A service to commemorate his life will be held on Thursday, June 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Northeastern Baptist Church, 6536 East G Avenue. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. David’s cremated remains will be interred at Genessee Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Northeastern Baptist Church or the Kalamazoo Nature Center., c/o the funeral home

Age 65, was called Home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 3, 2019. David was born on August 26, 1953, in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Nelson and Florence (McComb) Fox. Since he was a child he had an interest in trains and became an avid model railroader. He was a selfless individual who volunteered his HVAC services and other skills to those who were in need. He was an active member of the Northeastern Baptist Church, serving in choir, as a media technician, and as a volunteer in maintaining the church facility. Whatever he was doing he was passionate and gave it his all. In 1989, he rededicated his life to Christ. On May 4, 1991, he married Laura Kleis, who survives him. Besides Laura, he is survived by his brother James Fox of Apache Junction, AZ; sister, Nancy Ragsdale of Kalamazoo; a niece; a nephew; numerous brothers and sisters in Christ and many close friends.
