Dennis Yoder Jr. went to be with the Lord and the love of his life on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. He was born on July 3, 1968, to Dennis and Sharon (Whittle) Yoder at Pipp Hospital in Plainwell, Michigan.

His passing was sudden and unexpected, leaving all who knew him stunned.

Dennis had been employed at Orrin B. Hayes Mazda-Mercedes of Kalamazoo for the past 14 years. He loved his job, and his coworkers were his other family. Every year, he especially looked forward to the annual trip to a Detroit Tigers ball game with Bob, Brain, and Jeff and that is all he would talk about for weeks.

Everyone who knew Dennis, knows he had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. His recent obsession with collecting and trading Hot Wheels took him not only all over the Midwest, but the collectors quickly became another family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbra Yoder and his grandparents.

Dennis is survived by his mother and father; brother, Dale (Becky) Yoder; sister, Lisa (Dave II) Grooten; daughters, Ashley (Joshua) Morrison and Alison Yoder; son, Shane Evink; stepchildren, Veronica Benson, David Benson, Daniel Johnson, and Michael Burkes; grandchildren, Aila Morrison and Melody Allen; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Karma and Bella.

As he wished, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers please donate to the SPCA.
