The family will hold a private service to honor Diane’s memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane’s name to the YMCA in Kalamazoo, MI, an organization that reflects her spirit of care and community. Diane will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by those whose lives she touched.

Diane Marie Kempen, age 76, born to Wallace and Janet Kempen on March 20, 1948, in Ontonagon, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024. Diane was a kind-hearted woman with a deep compassion for others, often caring for those who were struggling and in need of support.
Her life was a testament to her selflessness and generosity, as she often put the needs of others before her own. Her family remembers her with love for her unwavering desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Diane is survived by her two brothers, Dennis and Dale Kempen; her son, Blaine Zartner, his wife Ashley, and their children Lauren, Ethan, and Maeve; and her daughter, Teagan Allison, her husband Robert, and their daughters Priya and Cecilia.
