Age 75 of Otsego passed away Wednesday September 10, 2025, surrounded by her family. Dianna was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on January 27, 1950, the daughter of Betty and Robert York. She was a graduate of Comstock High School. She worked at the Kalamazoo Box Factory before spending several years raising her children. Most recently, she was employed by Parker Hannifin where she worked for 38 years and considered many of her co-workers friends and family. Dianna enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her flowers, lunch dates with her grandson Ethan who was the light of her life, and watching Wheel of Fortune. Nurturing and taking care of others was her true calling as she always put others’ needs above her own. You could often find her baking a pineapple upside down cake for her grandson or peanut butter fudge for her neighbors and co-workers. Dianna is survived by her husband, Phillip Buckhout Sr.; daughter, Michelle (Derek) Norland; son, Phillip Buckhout Jr.; grandson, Ethan Norland; sister, Nancy Snow; brother, Donald York; brother in-law, Jerry York and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmom, Irene York; her sister, Pamela York; her niece, Linda Mason, and her nephew, “D-Jay” York.
