Minga was such a nice gal. So self resilient and a corner stone left of her family. She was loved by so many related to her.

Aunt Dominga was a quiet person with the biggest of smiles. She did not need accolades or fireworks. She did not seek attention, but she had a strength that few could understand. She devoted her time to family. Taking care of those who needed her right to the very end. She opened her house and her heart and never asked for anything in return. During this time of isolation I would call and ask “do you need anything?” And she would say “no I am okay “ even sitting on the couch when I went to see her Easter Sunday she looked so much in pain , we tried to help and she would say “no I am okay “ But just to make sure she was okay I would drop off fresh veggies and fruit and sometimes something easy to cook and always toilet paper. We would leave on the porch and the knock .She would come to the door and we would chat from the car with her. I was so excited to get my vaccine do I could visit her proper . Holidays were always special because I knew she love pineapple upside down cake. I brought one for her this Easter but alas she couldn’t eat it. But I also brought her banana pudding and she had some of that. My love language is food and I loved her so much. She was my Godmother and she was there for all those special religious ceremonies also standing with me at confirmation. She leaves a hole in my heart. But I am happy to know she is with her sisters. She will be the best and sweetest angel up there. Goodbye and thank you for being a part of my life
