December 11, 1943 - February 15, 2021

The family is planning to have a memorial service when it is safe for us to be together again. Don will be laid to rest next to his first wife, Mary at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or God’s Kitchen, Grand Rapids, c/o the funeral home.

I met this amazing man 10 years ago. Don and his wife Cathy adopted dog named Spike from a hoarding situation. With the big hearts that they have gave him the best home ever. Don has the biggest heart and gave the best hugs ever. Gonna miss that smile and them great hugs. Love ya Don.

Knowing Don just made you a better person; his love of life and family was plain to see. He had a sense of chivalry and a wonderful sense of humor, too. Don brought everyone who knew him well a feeling of being family. I was privileged to know him and I know he's in heaven but always with us, watching over us.
