This is a hard one. You bounced back & came through so many health crises like no one else I've known. You'll truly be missed by all your friends & family Donnie. You were a bright light & an inspiration to all of us. Thank you for all of your intense dedication to everything you believed in, blazing a trail for all to follow. I love you buddy.

Donald, I loved your friendship from the first minute we met nearly 45 years ago. Your warm smile and welcoming nature made me feel as if all was going to be okay as I came to terms with myself as an 18 year old gay male. Throw in on top of that the fun times we had at Jacobson’s and so many years after, and I can’t begin to tell you how proud I am to have had you as a close friend. RIP buddy and give my love to Miss Jackie! ❤️

So sorry to hear that Don has passed. I will always have fond memories of him in high school and all the crazy times riding around in his car. He was fun to be with and could always put a smile on your face. I hadn't seen him since his brother Dennis passed but we kept in touch on Facebook. Love seeing the pictures of his house, Jackie and his gardens. He will be greatly missed by many. RIP my friend. Chris Monroe

I will miss all our chats. I did have the honor of meeting Donald years ago when he was down in Ft Lauderdale visiting. He is with his Jackie now.

Donald, you responded to me every morning without fail. My days will never be the same. I’m sure going to miss you…😢 To your family, Donald was an amazing person, as you well know. I can only begin to feel your loss as I’m still stunned beyond words. May your hearts heal as fast as the universe allows. God’s speed my friend.
