Donna Yaple-Yowler

April 17, 1923 - July 10, 2023

Donna will be laid to rest in a graveside service on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, South, 3941 S. Westnedge, Kalamazoo. An hour of visitation will take place one prior to the service the at cemetery’s mausoleum chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, in c/o the funeral home.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this woman. I have known her since Lin and Craig got together. I lucked out and got a BONUS Aunt. She has always been family, always included in ours and she included us in hers. She and my mom and Aunt were very close, especially later when the ladies were single and widowed. Always lots of laughs with them. She and I had many a telephone party and we discussed the world, and, of course, family. Laugh. She was always upbeat - nothing negative. I cherish our conversations. She certainly lived a long and strong life and I am happy that she could share her time with all of us. My thoughts are with the family. None of this is easy. You are all loved. Kay

My friend. I write with tears strolling. It was an honor to care for you to the end. You were independent and strong, insistent to make your own bed and tidy your room to the end. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for your 100 years of experience that taught me life lessons I will take with me until it’s my turn. I will hang on to your kind words of “I love you Gerr…” and “You’re one of the good ones Gerr!” As I said to you before I left your side: “this is t goodbye. This is until we see each other again!” I love you dear friend.
