I had no idea what a wonderful neighbor we had living in the house behind us.

I have nothing but sweet memories of Dorothy. As a child at Northeastern on Virginia, sitting behind her and Mr. Troutman with my Grandma and Grandpa, the Christmas programs, and as I was older, waiting on them at Finleys, running into her at Panera, or Harding's. She always remembered me. Such a Beautiful Lady. My condolences to her family.

Dorothy, a sweet Christian woman I met many years ago. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

Dorothy was a wonderful and thoughtful person. I have very fond memories of Dorothy. Dorothy was my Avon lady for many years and I knew her from coming into Renzema"s bakery. She will be greatly missed.

I will be forever grateful for Dorothy Trautman. First, she produced and raised the boy (Gary) who grew into the man who became the love ❤️ of my life. She welcomed me warmly into her family- along with my son. Gary was a bit wayward but his mama was always ready to forgive and welcome us back into the fold. She was always kind to me and my children. You see depictions on television and in literature of horrible mothers-in-law. I feel so blessed to have had her as a shining example. I picture her now embracing her boys and her husband, finally at peace. Give my Gary a big kiss for me, Mom. And thank you for loving me. ❤️
