Age 70, passed away at Bronson Hospital on July 1, 2024. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on September 16, 1953, the daughter of the late Jack and Norma (Dole) Brizendine. Dort was kind, loving and gentle. She was sociable and loved to spend time with family and friends. Evenings were best spent around the dinner table talking, visiting and sharing old memories. She worked hard to provide a happy home for her family, and all were welcome. When not busy she enjoyed spending time at the racecar track. Above all she loved her family and was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. Dort will be missed by all who loved her. She is survived by three children, Rick (Cassie Guess) Partanen, Jason (Kelli) Partanen and Laura (Jason) Heckelman; ten grandchildren; extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a son, Michael Partanen.
