Dorothy passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023, at The Vineyards in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Dorothy was born in Bangor, Michigan on April 25, 1929, the daughter of Steve and Leona Geresy. She had a happy childhood in rural Bangor with her two brothers, Don and Larry. On May 15, 1959, she married Richard L. Randall. Together they celebrated sixty-three years of marriage. Dorothy was a member of many volunteer and social organizations throughout her life. She enjoyed many years of sunshine living in Winter Haven, Florida. Relocating ten years ago back to Southwest Michigan she joined the Zhang Portage Senior Center where she enjoyed fellowship in the sunset of her life and was an active “Needler” making hats and blankets for the young and old which were donated to the local hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. She also made hundreds of masks during Covid to be distributed throughout the community. Dorothy enjoyed golfing, bowling, crafting and painting. She is survived by her children Robert (Patricia) Randall of Portage, MI, Gloria (Billie) Simmons of Willis, TX, Glenn (Christine) Randall of Grimsley, TN and Mary Larsson of Lutz, FL. She has eight grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband, Richard L. Randall, brothers Donald and Larry, and granddaughter Brie Craig.
