A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Park View Hills Club House, 3707 Greenleaf Blvd., Kalamazoo. The family invites memorial contributions in Doug’s memory to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes, in c/o the funeral home.

Joan - I just happened upon Doug's obituary, and I'm so very sorry to learn of his passing. I met Doug while working at Borgess, and he was my sidekick, lifesaver and cherished companion while managing the Borgess "Run" in the early 90's. Unfortunately, I lost touch with him when I left the hospital and the two of you relocated to Hawaii. Doug was a true gentle giant, and I have nothing but fond memories of him. My heart goes out to you at this most difficult time.
