Age 56, passed away early Sunday morning, June 12, 2022. Doug was born in Kalamazoo on June 30, 1965, the son of Jay “Bud” and Carolyn (Henry) Hassing Sr. He was the youngest of their four children. Doug was an avid fisherman. He has been an employee of Tuff-Kote. Doug is survived by his siblings, Debbie (Rick) Davis, Jay Hassing Jr., and Rebecca Hassing; nephew, Justin (Christine) Kelley and Kelly (Ken Hale) Gibbs; a great niece, Scarlett Kelley; and many friends.
