Edna lived life to the fullest and enjoyed making special memories along life’s journey. She grew up in Southwest Michigan. She was kind, generous, funny and loving. Edna was a social woman who made friends wherever she went. She enjoyed horseback riding, NASCAR Races, square dancing, hosting parties and spending time with family and friends. She was proud of her Irish background and was deeply supportive of those in her family who had served in the military. She was a member of the Red Hats Society and involved with the Edison Neighborhood Association. Edna worked hard in retail for several years and she also strived to provide a home where all were made to feel welcome. On April 8, 1978, she was united in marriage to Robert Engberts who preceded her in passing in 2019. Her greatest joys came from spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her laughter and smile will be missed by all who knew her.
