Age 87, went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2024. She passed away at her home with her loving husband at her side. Elida was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on June 20, 1936, the daughter of the late George and Lovern (Conrad) Hall. Elida was kind, loving and gentle. She had a passion for music and was a gifted self-taught pianist. She had a strong faith and was a member of First Reformed Church of Alamo. Elida’s heart was always open to helping and serving others. When not caring for her family and friends, she enjoyed nights out going to the Barn Theatre, catching a concert or the latest show. Above all Elida loved her husband, her children and her friends and she leaves behind many wonderful memories to cherish. On October 19, 1953, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard E. Markle, who survives. She is also survived by seven children, Linda Timmsen, Gregory Markle, Kathleen Ryan, Richard Markle, Anthony Markle, Curtis Markle, Matthew Markle; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a daughter, Elizabeth Brand and two siblings, James and Junior Hall.
