It has been my privilege and pleasure to know Perry and his parents for many years. They purchased their Huzzy Lake Lodge from my grandparents and it always gave me great joy in hearing of the many wonderful memories their family was making as an addition to the ones our family made over the years. I pray God continues to surround their family with His everlasting comfort and protection. My love and prayers to the family.

I worked at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts and met Perry Wolfe when he was a board member there. On one occasion, I met and had a conversation with Mrs. Wolfe’s late husband there. He was proudly wearing a, “Mrs. Wolfe’s Pre-School,” t-shirt. He thought I knew all about it, but not being originally from Kalamazoo, I was unaware of what sounded like an amazing an well-loved place. He told me the history. We had a nice conversation— he was very kind. I never met Mrs. Wolfe, but from the look in her husband’s eyes as he spoke about her, I could tell that she was a very lovely and kind person. And from her obituary, I now know how well loved she was by so many. My condolences to her family.
