Age 75, passed away on March 13, 2020, with family at her side. Elizabeth was born in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (Miller) Cripps Jr. She was a kind living and gracious woman. She worked hard to provide for her family. After 27 years she retired from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety where she served for many years as a dispatcher. When not working she enjoyed spending time at the family home on Eagle Lake. She was athletic and liked to waterski, spent time in her flower garden, and was fond of feeding the birds. She was a known “animal lover” and was especially fond of her pet cats. Elizabeth had a creative mind and enjoyed tinkering and building things. Above all she loved her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren to whom she was known as “GG.” Elizabeth was a selfless person who found a way to help those in need even when others would not. Her kind smile, laughter and legacy will be missed by all who loved her. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Joyce) Aulds, Jim (April Smith) Aulds; five grandchildren, Wole (Debbie) Johnson, Tara Mabin, Laquan Aulds, Kayla (Oscar) Lopez; six great-grandchildren, Caleb, Gabrielle, Kai, Eden, Ilana, Faye; many other extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by two siblings.
