Age 93, passed away on October 28, 2018. Evie was born on December 6, 1924, in Friendship, TN, the daughter of Ausey and Myrtle (Burns) Lipford. On November 8, 1945, she married the love of her life, R.D. Forshee. Many Kalamazoo residents will remember Evie for her kindness as a waitress at the Bill Knapp restaurants. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Charlie, a son-in-law, Abe Olivares, 4 brothers and 1 sister.  Besides R.D., she is survived by her loving children, Robert, Linda, Rosemary, and Timothy; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grand-children, and several nieces and nephews.  The family wishes to thank the staff of Alamo Nursing Home for the loving care they provided to Evie during her time there.
