I'm so very sorry and saddened to hear about Evie's passing. I worked with her in the late 90's. She was so kind, caring, loving and had a great sense of humor. From co-worker's to customers. Everyone loved her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

May God comfort your hurting hearts. Momma always spoke very highly of Evelyn.

Just heard of Evelyn's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. She was one unique lady. So many childhood memories of your whole family. Ate many Sunday meals that she cooked. Funniest woman I ever met. I can still remember many things she said that my dad mentioned for years such as "putting on a girdle is like putting a marshmellow in a parking meter"! Will be praying for you all. I will keep watch for the service. I live in Missouri now, but planning on being in Michigan for Thanksgiving and maybe will still be there. Love you all.

So sorry to hear of Evie’s passing. She was a hard-working woman with a great sense of humor. Having grown up with the entire family I know how much they love and will miss their mother.
