At Gayle's request, she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be planned for family and friends to gather together later this spring. Memorial donations can be made to Centrica Rose Arbor Place or Kalamazoo Animal Rescue.

I didn't know Gayle on a personal level, but my son was a student of hers. I was so impressed the first time I met her at conferences. You could tell she truly cared for her students, always looking for the positives in them and going the extra mile to help them when they were struggling. So sorry to hear of her passing. Sending prayers of comfort and peace to her family.
