Grandma Gay you will always be in my heart. I loved being your grandson. Your kindness, creativity and love of life will carry on in the future generations of our family. I thought if you often on my family’s recent trip to the redwoods. I know how much that place meant to you—It means so much to my family too. Love you. Josh

Cheryl, Candy and family, Merita and I are incredibly sad for the loss of your mother. Aunt Gaynor was a big part of my childhood and our extended family. She was always kind and loving to all of us growing up. As adults our contact grew less frequent as the Navy moved us around the world, but she was always remembered in the stories we told about our youth. We know she will always be missed but her spirit lives on in the hearts of all of us who knew her and most of all by her family. I know I am a better person because of her.

-Grey will always be one of the most special people in my life and I am so lucky to have her as a great grandma. I will always remember her love of painting, books, and family. I’ve had some of my best memories with Grey, all because of her love, her love of fun, and kindness. I will have these memories forever, and I can’t thank Grey enough for that. I’ll love you forever, Grey.

Aunt Gaynor was my favorite aunt . I have many fond memories of her over the years . She was always welcoming and kind. In later years she was an inspiration. I always thought of her as a hard working person who was contented with life. It seemed to me she lived in the present and loved life. Loving thoughts go to Cheryl, Candy, Grandchildren and all that loved her. Aunt Gaynor will be missed. Love , Denise

Grandma Gay was always her own woman. I admire and am inspired by her trailblazing tenacity to live true to her heart.

My mother, my friend. You will always be beside me. Every time I take a nature walk, a road trip, go antiquing, eat an ice cream cone, actually everything I do in my walk of life you will be right there with me. Love you
