Age 87, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020. George was born in Morgan County, Alabama on January 15, 1933, the son of the late J.P. and Tennie (Layton) Puckett. On April 27, 1978, he was united in marriage to Wilma R. (Fuller) Ketcham, who preceded him in death on July 28, 2020. George was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tennie Gentry; grandchildren, Joseph and Jolene Puckett; brothers, Charles and Bobby Puckett and sisters, Doris Jean Rivers, Barbara Faye Vinson and Pamela Jones. He is survived by his son, William (Valerie) Puckett; step-children, Dana and Matthew Ketcham; granddaughter, Melissa (Dalton Davis) Vickery; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Trevor, Alivia and Bensen; brothers, Jackie (Lori), Billy (Sandy) and David Puckett; sisters, Martha Hall, Linda (Carol David) Johnson and Deborah Ward and many nieces and nephews.
