A Celebration of Jerry's Life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Paw Paw Eagles, 63237 M-40, Lawton. Jerry will be laid to rest next to Sharron at Central Portage Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon, November 16, 2022, while hunting up North. Jerry was born in Watervliet on February 21, 1957, the son of Earl Henry and Grace Elizabeth (Shaw) Covell. On July 2, 1983, he married Sharron Hope Baldwin who preceded him in death on May 20, 2021. Jerry was a foreman at LD Dosca, where he worked for many years, until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved boating with Sharron. More recently, he had enjoyed travelling. Jerry was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He and Sharron were avid motorcyclists, and loved their Harley Davidson. Nothing was more important to him than family. He gladly supported all of his grandchildren in whatever they did, and enjoyed going to their sporting events. He would do anything for anyone he loved. Jerry is survived by his children, daughters, Nita (Thomas) Lowe, Tina Hicks, Sandra Wyman and Ashley (Cody) Couch; sons, Jody E. (Sharon) Wyman, Mark Wyman and Jason (Tricia) Wyman; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary (Sandra) Covell, Dewayne (Brenda) Covell, Arlene McNett, Donna (Louis) Carroll, Phyllis Finley; a sister-in-law, Julie Glazier; a special granddaughter, Stacy Smith; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends, including a special friend, his close companion Linda Reynolds. Besides his wife, Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wanda Sue Wyman, son, Jesse Wyman; brothers, Alvie, Earl, Vern, Donald, Delos and Darl; sisters, Leona and Marilyn.
