Age 75, passed away at Bronson Methodist Hospital on Friday, January 27, 2017. Sena was born in Zuidwolde, the Netherlands on August 12, 1941 to the late Albertus and Roelfina (Posthuma) Wolthuis. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1950. Sena retired from Bronson Methodist Hospital after 20 years of service in their housekeeping department. She was a long-time member of Second Christian Reformed Church and a former member of Northern Heights CRC. Sena enjoyed crocheting and knitting, yardwork and volunteering at Second Impressions Thrift Shop. She also loved camping and traveling. On September 23, 1960 she married John Glas who preceded her in death on March 21, 2011. She is survived by her children, Nicholas Glas, Deborah (Elton) Veenstra, Jacob (Deborah) Glas, John (Amy) Glas and Matthew “Quincy” (Stacee) Glas; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Sena is also survived by her siblings, Grace Wolthuis, Jake (Flo) Wolthuis and Marinus Wolthuis; in-laws, Arie Gritter, Grace Mulder, Joe Glas, Carol Glas, Ali Glas and Jim and (Grace) Pestoor and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Sena was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Glas and brother, Matheus Wolthuis.
