Jonathan Lam officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to the Mattawan Community Church, c/o the funeral home.

Age 82, passed away at Ascension Borgess Hospital on October 23, 2023. Glenda was born in Kalamazoo, MI, March 2, 1941, the daughter of the late Glenn and Kathleen (Wheeler) Hiser. Glenda was a kind, gracious and strong woman. She had a strong faith in the Lord which was the foundation of her life. She was currently a member of Mattawan Community Church and formerly a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Kalamazoo. Glenda was a hard worker who was employed as a school bus driver for more than thirty years. When not working she loved traveling and took several trips throughout the United States and abroad. She also loved spending time in the sun at the family home on Huzzy Lake. Following the sun, she enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida and Arizona. A social person, she rarely met a person who didn’t become a friend. She enjoyed playing games, especially cards and dominos. Above all Glenda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. She will be missed by all who knew her. On November 12,1965, she married the love of her life, James Lemmers who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Mark (Katie) Lemmers and Scott (Dominique) Lemmers; three grandchildren, Mallory, Casey, and Brett; two God-children, Kristian Owsiany and Melissa Meade; three siblings, Ruth (Tom) Welch, Rick (Bev) Hiser, Deb Hiser; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in passing by five siblings, Glenn Hiser, Michael Hiser, Diane Roberts, Doris Hiser and Bob Hiser.
