Glenn will be laid to rest with Sandy at a graveside service on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, South, 3941 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo. A Celebration of Glenn’s Life will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions may be given to Kairos Dwelling, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 81 of Texas Township, passed away early on Wednesday morning, November 20, 2024 with his loving family at his side. Glenn was born in Kalamazoo on May 20, 1943, the son of Carl and Ruth (Percy) Priester. On October 23, 1965, he married Sandra Lou Poulsen who preceded him in death in 2019. Glenn was a very personable guy and liked visiting with his neighbors and friends. He loved playing games, especially Uno. He was also an avid puzzler. As a sportsman he liked watching the Detroit Red Wings, and often to Sandy’s dismay WWE. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing aboard his boat, Catch II on Huzzy Lake. He had also been a bowler at Airway Lanes. Glenn worked for many years as a carpenter and builder. Glenn is survived by his children, Terri (Rob) Ludlow of Portage, Jammie (Sommer) Priester of Vicksburg, Paul (Melissa) Priester of Lake Geneva, WI; grandchildren, Gregory Priester, Domonic (Katie) Priester-Bird, Steven Ludlow, Courtney Zielinski, Audrey (Kory) Ellen, Jaxon Priester, Megan Priester, Aaron Priester, Ethan Priester, Emily Priester; a great grandson, Mason Faulk; a great-granddaughter, Emma Ellen; brother, David Priester; sisters-in-law, Joan Priester; Cheryl (Mike) Jarvis; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Besides his wife, Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gordon Priester; sister, in law, Sharon Priester.
