Age 72, passed away at her home on December 11, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on January 16, 1947, the daughter of the late Bernard and Dorothy (Keown) Upson Sr. She was known by many as “Glo” or “Glo Baby”. She had a wonderful personality and loving spirit. She was a graduate of Comstock High School Class of 1965 where she was a drum Majorette. While attending Comstock she fell in love with her future husband, David Rayman. Gloria went on to attended Kellogg Community College and was later employed by the Upjohn Company. She spent most of her time working at the Brook Lodge Conference Center; she retired after more than thirty-two years of service. Gloria had a strong faith in the Lord and was a former member of Bethel Reformed Church. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren. She was an involved and present mother and grandmother. She enjoyed attending the kids sporting events and was their biggest cheerleader. Gloria was a lovely woman who leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived; she will be missed by all who loved her. On November 26, 1966, she was united in marriage to David Rayman, who survives. They enjoyed fifty-three years together. She is also survived by two wonderful children, Matt (Stacie) Rayman, Jennifer (Rodd) Lanoue; three grandchildren, Tyler and Mattison Rayman and Brodie Lanoue; two siblings, Penny Shellenberg and Bernard Upson Jr.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
