Age 85, passed away at Centrica Rose Arbor Place on August 31, 2023. He was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of the late Joesph and Annie (Serblowski) Cherneski. On May 31, 1994, he married his loving wife Janice L. (Fluga) Cherneski who preceded him in passing in 2019. Gordon was a gifted, self-motivated and charismatic man. His passions ranged from computer technologies to cooking. He worked hard as a social worker both in Michigan and Canada. He was a gifted artist and woodworker; loved traveling and keeping up with the latest fads. He was an amazing cook and was forever branching into new flavors. He loved hosting holidays and having family and friends for meals. Gordon lived his life to the fullest and he will be forever cherished by the loving family and friends he leaves behind.
