Age 78, passed away peacefully at Rose Arbor surrounded by his loving family. Hans was born in Zurich, Switzerland, the son of the late Johannes and Trudi Messikommer. On December 12, 1964, he married the love of his life Myrta L. Messikommer who survives. Together they made their home in America. Hans was an avid skier who also enjoyed Formula 1 Racing and traveling. He was a member of Kalamazoo First United Methodist Church. Above all Hans loved his family and did his best to provide for them. He leaves behind many wonderful memories to be cherished. He is also survived by three daughters, Andrea (Tom) Murphy, Elizabeth (Stephen) Madura and Patricia (Rene) Vargas; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Hug and Heidi Stalder, of Switzerland; many nieces, nephews and friends.
