A memorial service to celebrate Breezy’s life will take place on Friday, June 11, 2021, at Delton Community Church, 5380 Mooselodge Dr., Delton, MI; visitation will begin at 11:00 AM followed by the service at 12:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be given to Gun Plain Township Fire Department, William Crispe Community House or Wounded Warriors Project.

Age 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Harold was born in Plainwell, Michigan on March 9, 1938, the son of the late Reon D. and Velma (Hurley) Brown. He graduated from Plainwell High School and served honorably in the Air National Guard. Harold worked for several companies over the years, including Angle Steel Corp., Hammond Machinery, North American Aluminum Corp., Wright Coating, and most recently for William Crispe Community House. He also owned and operated Brown’s Family Inn. Harold served on the Gun Plain Township Fire Department for 37 years, retiring in 2011. On October 12, 1957, he married the former Nancy Lee Harsh, who preceded him in death on May 20, 2006. Harold loved traveling, especially to Italy and Hawaii. He also enjoyed wintering in Florida. Harold was an extremely caring man and loved helping anyone he could and was a patriotic American. He is survived by his wife, Marlene K. (Evans) Brown, who he married on May 31, 2008; sons, William D. (Deb) and Patrick L. (Laura) Brown; step-daughters, Michelle (Jon) Fox and Dianna (Richard) Hanshew; his beloved grandchildren, Joshua D. Brown, Rachel R. (Jorge) Maldonado, Zebulun D. (Shayla) Brown, Ethan P. (Faith) Brown and Logan R. Brown; five great-grandchildren; sister, Beatrice (Wayne) Van Weelden; brother, LaVerne (Carol Hood) Brown; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
