June 29, 1925 - December 12, 2020

A family celebration of Helen’s life will take place at a later date. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Woodside Special Care Unit at Friendship Village for their compassionate care and concern for Helen, especially in her final days. I had many wonderful visits with Helen at Trinity Lutheran and at Friendship Village. We shared travel stories, our love of Michigan, and the joy of being part of a small liberal arts college community. Most of all she delighted in sharing with me photos and pictures of her kids and grandkids. She loved you all dearly. She was called Home to be with the Lord but will leave in our hearts forever. My sympathy to the family.

I met Helen through my membership in P.E.O. She was a fine and participating member and a joy to spend time with. Helen will be remembered and missed.
