Helen Ruth Hamilton

October 6, 1937 - June 20, 2021

Helen's family is holding a Celebration of Life to honor her life and legacy on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 315 W Kalamazoo Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49007 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating. A luncheon will follow in the Clough room. They will lay Helen to rest with a private burial. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo Institute of the Arts or the Gilmore Keyboard Festival. Please leave a condolence message and a favorite memory you shared with Helen in her on-line guestbook.

I knew Helen at Michigan Bell. I have never known a finer human being. A joy to be around. She would tell us about all the phone calls she placed for famous people who came to Kalamazoo to perform. I seem to remember Porter Wagner melting her heart when he called her "Darlin' " I am sorry for your loss.

Helen was always so kind and welcoming of my family. She treated us as family and we will never forget her kindness and joy for life. She was truly a wonderful friend to all she met. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts & prayers are with her family.

We always enjoyed Aunt Helen and the girls coming down to Granny Hall's farm in Jackson County. Those were the best of times. Family just doesn't get together like they used. Prayers for the Family...
