Friends may call on the family for one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, c/o the funeral home.

Age 66, passed away on Friday morning, July 24, 2020 Hank was born in New Orleans, LA, on September 19, 1953, the son of Homer H. and Barbara (Brown) Leverette Sr. On June 28, 1974, he married Luann Pickett who survives him. Hank was a graduate of Western Michigan University. Following a short career in the medical field, he pursued teaching and was for many years a teacher at St. Therese School in Wayland. He later became the Principal and was loved by his students. Hank was a volunteer with Kalamazoo in Bloom and loved working in his yard. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. When his sons were growing up he was a volunteer coach with Westwood Little League. Besides his wife, Hank is survived by his children, Philip (Randall “JR” Clark) Leverette of Chicago, Benjamin (Amber) Leverette of Kalamazoo, Eric (Lovely Joy Broa) Leverette of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Lillian and Max; many brothers and sisters in law; many nieces, nephews and cousins; countless friends.
