A service, pig-roast and bonfire in Ian’s memory will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. on his property. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or American Cancer Society.

Ian was one of my favorite students. We stayed in touch after he graduated. We had many conversations about the events in his life and he was known to stop by and hang out and keep me updated. He was always a hard worker (but hated to read) and I would brag about his work ethic to current students and use him as an example of how hard work pays off. I will miss him and our talks.
