To Carol, Rusty, Debbie, Joey, Lynn and Gary, I was so sorry and shocked to see Jim's obituary in the Gazette this past Sunday. It makes me very sad. The video was wonderful to see and brought back so many good memories of Jim. He was such a good guy. Jim was always very good to my Dad, Albert James, and they took several fishing trips together. I know my Dad missed him after we divorced. Jim was very well liked by my family, too. I realized after watching the video how long it has been and that I still remember him as he looked in the picture of him fishing. My sincere condolences to all of you who loved him so much. Carol, My condolences to you and the family. Jim was one of the most fun a memorable people I have ever met. I shared many a good time with him over the years. From Fishing trips to golf outings to work laughs and just hanging out together he was the best. Nothing but great positive fun thoughts come to mind when I think of him. I am so glad you two found each other and had such a good life together. Rest in Peace Jimmy.......rest in peace.

Carol, I'm so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I'll always remember his laugh and sense of humor whether on the golf course or happy hours with Gazette friends at the "Fish Store". I hope all your fond memories of Jim help you during this difficult time. He will be missed by many.

Dear Carol, family & all who will miss Jim: I first met and instantly liked Jim well before working with him. We shared the D&R Sports account when I was at the Kalamazoo Shopper, prior to working at the Gazette. Although Jim was in classified and I was in display sales, we managed to share plenty of laughs both around the building and outside. Camping at Yankee Springs and a fishing trip on houseboats will never be forgotten, same for fun with former co-workers on Long Lake. Everyone who knew Jim has got to be smiling thinking of him, despite the sadness of his passing. IF I were 1,200 miles closer, I'd be there for Wednesday visitation. I'm happy that I have some fun photos to help preserve the memory of one-heckuva-great-guy. Mac from display adv.
