Age 60, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020. Jimmy George Mantas was born in Battle Creek, on August 20, 1958, the son of George and Carolyn (Matheson) Mantas. Jimmy enjoyed spending time at the Blue Dolphin. Steve and the staff there were like second family to him. Jimmy will be greatly missed by his family and by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Cody and Raven; 3 grandchildren; mother, Carolyn Goldacker of Portage; siblings, Fredrick (Paula) Mantas of Twin Lakes, WI, Theodore Mantas of Twin Lakes, WI, Catherine (Tom) McCormick of Marcellus, Matthew Goldacker of Battle Creek, Robert (Donna) Goldacker of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
