James L. Zimmerman, Jr.

October 19, 1956 - August 16, 2021

Cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 28, 2021, beginning at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital c/o the funeral home.

I knew Jim since Jh high school in our school days my brother Kevin an I would visit frequently he was a good friend to us all and an exelent wrestler and agood friend too I will miss him alot. Chris Banks.

We remember Jim well. What an athlete he was, from wrestling to football. It was our honor to have him attend our youth group at church as well. Our condolences to the family and friends who will miss this man. Thank you Cathy for the call informing us of his passing. He was a good man indeed.

So shocked and saddened to hear of Jim passing. Such a great guy and a sense of humor that always cracked me up. He will truly be missed. Gone too soon. Heartfelt condolences to his family. Rest in Peace Jim!
