A graveside memorial service will be held at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, or a charity of one’s choice.

My sincere condolences. Jane may or may not have realized her great sense of humor. I shall miss her. Thus ends a generation of VerMeulens. R.I.P. aunt Jane.

I will miss our times together cruising the aisles of the Dollar General store looking for brightly colored scrunchies and little trinkets that meant so much to you in the store; only to find out that you had a huge inventory of these items in your basement. I will miss talking to you about "things" that were of interest to you and that you felt comfortable talking with me. Until your passing, I didn't realize just how precious you were to me how much those days meant to me. Good bye my friend, we will meet again
