Mr. & Mrs. Bair and family, What a sad, shocking and tragic loss. I was Jeff's First Sergeant when he was in the Intelligence section of Headquarters Company, 415th Civil Affairs Battalion. I last saw him in May of 2019 before deploying. He was always the consumate Soldier, putting his Soldiers before himself and was someone I could always count on to complete an assignment and do it correctly. Words will never express how saddened I am at this loss. If I might ever be of assistance to you or your family, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Jeff will always be my Soldier and all of you will remain part of the Army Family.
