Age 40, passed away Sunday morning, January 14, 2024. Jeremy was born in Kalamazoo, on April 30, 1983, the son of Kerry and Linda (Clearwaters) Richardson. Jeremy loved the water for swimming but fishing was his thing. He loved being in nature. Spotting eagles always made his day. The birds all came to Jeremy for food. Everything in nature was beautiful to him. He even liked snakes. He also liked sports and was a fan of Michigan teams, the Lions and the Tigers. Most recently he was proud of the U of M teams, especially the football team. Jeremy played basketball in high school and was always willing to shoot hoops with anyone. And although he didn’t play, he loved watching golf. Jeremy was a dog-person and he loved his dog, Lady Gaga. Nothing was more important to Jeremy than his family and he loved them and was loved by them. Jeremy had a great smile. He was compassionate, never judging. His friends meant a lot to him and he cared about them deeply. He was great at keeping up relationships. He was a kind and gentle soul. Jeremy is survived by his father, Kerry Richardson of Clear Lake Shores, TX; mother, Linda Clearwaters of Kalamazoo; brother, Douglas (Lindsey) Richardson; nephew, Brantley Richardson; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and countless friends. Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Gerry Clearwaters, Gerald and Grace Richardson; and special cousins, Nick Clearwaters, his fishing buddy; and Jill Survilla.
