Age 76, passed away late Sunday evening, April 23, 2023. Jerrold was born in Traverse City, on May 23, 1946, the son of Charles E. and Betty Jane (Barrons) Rife. Jerrold proudly served his nation in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a printer at Graphic Packaging. He was married to Carie Chapman who preceded him in death in 2020. Jerrold is survived by his son Jerrold Rife, Jr.; stepchildren, Lloyd (Jennifer) Chapman, Jason (Allie) Chapman and Ruth Marie (Jon Prolo)Chapman, grandchildren, Shelby Rife, Austin Rife, Walker Rife; step-grandchildren, Rori, Hannah, Asher, Abigail, Finn, Skylar, Abby, Libby; mother-in-law, Ruth Chapman; his brothers, James Rife, David (Debbie) Rife, Kenneth (Debra) Rife, Michael (Bonnie) Rife; his sisters, Barbara Kaarlie, Beverly Babbitt; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Besides his wife, Jerrold was preceded in death by his parents.
