Age 76, passed away on June 8, 2019. Jerry was born on May 12, 1943, in Kalamazoo, the son of Roscoe and Nona (Gentry) Mackey. Jerry is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Jim Stone) of Wayland, Tonya Mackey of Wayland and Nichole Salski of Wayland; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Dick (Jan) Herp of Martin. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Johnny Hines. He loved going to the drag races and was a huge Detroit Tiger and Detroit Lion fan. He loved to read and had read over a thousand books. Above all else he loved his daughters and the rest of his family, who will dearly miss him.
