Age 76, passed away early Thursday morning, March 16, 2023. Jess was born in Kalamazoo on December 12, 1946, the daughter of William John and Elizabeth Vera (Drysdale) Goggin. Jess was an avid movie buff. She loved watching and recording old movies to share with her family. She was a seamstress and could tailor anything. She made her daughter’s wedding dress for her. In the kitchen she was better than most with her baking and cooking skills. Jess had a heart of gold and was always willing to give room to anyone in need. She was a fun person and always had a lot of friends and a lot to say. Jess’s grandchildren were the joy of her life. Jess is survived by her daughter, Paulette Rieger; grandsons, Zachariah (Chelsea) Rieger, Alexander Rieger, Nicolas Rieger, Benjamin Rieger; great-grandchildren, Anthony Rieger, Amber-Mae Rieger, Ivy Rose Rieger; brother, William (Charlotte) Goggin; sister, Nancy (James) Bond; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
